malacia	9:44a	... and I'm taking a trip on my train. on the weekend of dec 12: 1. andy & i watched lost, of course (currently finishing up season 2) 2. andy went to a jiu jitsu seminar & got all inspired 3. olin & i went to bryn's birthday party & the riverplex. mya's "mom" sandy was very interesting & her story made me extremely grateful for my life & family. i hope to see more of her in the future. 4. olin & i christmas-shopped! 5. we all watched the princess & the frog at the theater. 6. andy & i watched ufc 107 at home. 7. on sunday we missed our train from normal, il to chicago by a few minutes, so we got breakfast at the coffeehouse in normal while we waited for the next train. a japanese woman at the coffeehouse wrote olin's name in several different languages for him, and told him his name meant "great" "cause & effect" ... or "great cause-maker." i love coffee houses for this very reason. random interactions with interesting people. 8. the museum was interesting. the christmas trees from around the world were beautiful. there was one representing our beloved belize. there was an exhibit on future technology & invention, and this was my favorite section. there was a "reactable" that we all played and enjoyed. weekends are love.
